Nacelle Raises $18 Million In Series A Funding

Nacelle raises $18 million in Series A funding, led by Inovia Capital. With the funding, Nacelle plans to add new functionality to its product and grow the team 3x larger in the next year.

Nacelle has raised $18 million in Series A funding, announced in a feature article by TechCrunch. This most recent round was led by Inovia Capital with other notable technology investors including Index Ventures, Accomplice, Lerer Hippeau, High Alpha and Silas Capital. Strategic individuals who were key contributors to the effort include Klaviyo CEO Andrew Bialecki, Attentive CEO Brian Long, and Steven Kramer of Hybris notoriety, now CEO of WorkJam.

With the funding, we plan to add new functionality to our product and grow our team 3x than it is today. Hiring efforts have already begun, with several positions now open in software engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success.

Recent merchant success stories include Barefoot Dreams, who launched Nacelle-powered webstore in November 2020. Barefoot Dreams saw a 64% increase in conversion rate and doubled sales after leveraging our platform and reimagining their frontend with Zehner, a leading eCommerce agency and Nacelle partner. 

D2C fashion brand Something Navy launched a Nacelle-powered store last July, enabling it to sell over $1 million worth of clothing in 30 minutes of going live, without a glitch. At launch, Something Navy’s site delivered a 1.4 second load speed and a 34-millisecond page-to-page change load speed (around 600 times faster than typical eCommerce sites) allowing shoppers to browse the product catalog with ease. 

Other notable eCommerce brands that have seen success with Nacelle include Enso Rings, Ikonick, and Ballsy.
